Project Profile

Cleanrooms that go mobile:

A permanent located cleanroom is not always a good solution, therefore we have designed systems that fit within an ISO standard shipping container.

The photos are of a unit designd and manufatured to service the needs of the Royal Australian Navy Clearance Diving Team.

This is used in conjunction with the land based training facility at HMAS Penguine.

The room is in accordance with the requirements of Australian Standard AS1386.4, for Class 3500 Cleanrooms.

The container has been extensively modified, including vinyl flooring, insulated panelling, lights, power outlets, and a nitrogen blow down system.

The finished product has custom-made stainless steel benches. An ante room has been provided, incorporating racking for garments. A storage area is also included for gowns/boots etc. The cleanroom can be powered either by 3 phase mains power or a remote diesel generator.
